for some reason, i am getting a TON of support emails that I did not subscribe to. Over 20 an hour! I have gone and unsubscribed from each topic, but every time a new topic comes up I get another email. HOW DO I STOP THIS? I have unsubscribed from the forums and still they come. I am a very unhappy camper at this point. I want it to stop……NOW!

well, I did add this code to the bottom, but nothing changed on the shop page ?? still 7 products being shown

thank you. I am scared……LOL the last one I tried totally obliterated my entire site, but I am willing to give it a shot. Do I just add it to the bottom of the page in functions.php?

Well, I am manually going in and changing the color, but it is too tedious. I am still waiting on a response from support here. help?

The first theme I was using was Dream Way, which was a child theme of SG Window (i think). I have tried several themes and they all do the same thing. Currently, I am using Stained glass with the same results. I can make it work, if I put in the link (to the “home” custom link but if anyone types in my url, it will not take them to that home link (which is what I want my static page/ sticky post page) to be……..I have tried the static page and sticky post……neither do what I want ??

Update………..i got it to work, but not the way I wanted! I had to install a page to post plugin. I was able to change the front page page to a post. The comments show up on the post. I then had to change the url link on the HOME section in the menu. Instead of just being https://www.beautifulsoulblessings.com it is now https://www.beautifulsoulblessings.com/2016/08/25/welcome/
although, if anyone types in https://www.beautifulsoulblessings.com it just reroutes them. A small price to pay to get the theme to do what I want. I am not css skilled, so i figured a work around….ugly as it is.

I still would like to see responses to the original question however……..

Nope, I never got any help.

I figured out the search bar issue. Finally.
Go to Appearance, then customize
Customize layout
Default layout
(My side column is on the right and the search bar was showing up underneath the picture on every page but the home page..)
I simply unchecked Top First Sidebar which removed the search bar from underneath the picture ??

Well, I removed the Contact Form 7 because the recaptcha did not work …..in built or not. It simply did not give me that option.

The contact form that came with the WP also does not give the recaptcha. So, I have no idea what to do now.

So frustrating.

I would also like to know! The search bar in the blog posts section is not even listed in the widgets, yet, there it is, big as day. I have changed every setting I can think of, but it is still there. Help!!
