In reply to: [Exifography] Plugin doesn’t work with WP 6.3.1@steve92 Thanks for the report. I will try to check this out.
You’re right, I need to update, or look into closing/passing on control to someone who has time to maintain it.@miemie we both said that we have already tried that. Had there been an update that means it now works with filters (filters work on product attributes rather than taxonomies).
I just realised that this is probably due to the filter working on products, and we have hidden all variable products to only show variations. Still, it would be nice if it could be made to work.
I am having this issue too. I’ve just disabled the filter widget for now, but I’d love to get it working eventually.

In reply to: [Exifography] Add Timestamp OffsetHi Vinod,
I thought the way cameras dealt with time was pretty standard, but I guess not ?????♀?
I’ll try to take a look, thanks for including the post link ????

In reply to: [Exifography] fixes & enhancementsperhaps mysql_real_escape_string should be used instead?
Thanks for the tip! I believe I was following the official WP documentation on security at the time, but it might have been updated since then.
I have finally started revisiting work on the plugin, so hope to incorporate these changes and update soon.

In reply to: [Exifography] Where is the Exif data in the article edit panel?@steve92 I hope my explanation about it being added at the time of rendering the page answered your question.
I update the plugin when I have time, or when there is an urgent bug fix. I haven’t had opportunity to add features in a long time, but I’ve tested and it is still working as originally intended. I’ll update the files to reflect that it is still working. I’m hoping to add keywords and lens fields soon.

In reply to: [Exifography] Where is the Exif data in the article edit panel?@steve92 Yes, that is what I meant by it being automatically added to the end of the post. It’s done at the time the post is rendered for viewing, it’s not added in the editor.
So, if there are changes you want to make, let me know and I can explain how to do it from the settings page, or using a shortcode, if it can be done.

In reply to: [Exifography] Where is the Exif data in the article edit panel?@steve92 Sorry for the delay replying to you.
If you are on the edit post page please make sure the post settings section is open on the right by clicking the settings cog icon at the top right.
Add EXIF To Post panel should be in this sidebar (you might need to scroll down).
If you don’t see it there, please click the 3 dots at the top right of the edit panel and go to Preferences > Panels > Additional and make sure it is enabled there.
This section allows you to choose which EXIF data is showing in this post. Currently the content of the EXIF area cannot be edited any further from there, it is automatically added to the bottom of the post according to the settings in the plugin settings page.
Please let me know what specific changes you want to make if you need more info.

In reply to: [Exifography] fixes & enhancements@swoolrich while a lack of updates might mean a plugin is abandoned it is not always the case and I am monitoring these support requests.
I see that you had a request that is not yet resolved. I apologize for that. FWIW I had a baby a year ago (around the time of your request), so I spend very little time at my computer these days. But it is my intention to update the plugin.

In reply to: [Exifography] fixes & enhancements@airdrummer thanks, I will check it out. Can’t give a time frame, but appreciate the suggestions!
Just off the top of my head while on my phone, if you’re turning labels off you could also just remove the separator in the HTML settings of the plugin, or am I missing a use case?
I usually use the Regenerate Thumbnails plugin to reprocess images and fetch additional meta data from them, but that wouldn’t reset the settings of this plugin, so good idea.

In reply to: [Exifography] Exifography is not workingHey Prashant,
I can’t see any images on your site at the moment.
Can you tell me more about what settings you have used? This plugin doesn’t show exif for gallery images out of the box, so I’m not sure where you are expecting to see the exif for a gallery. Also not sure what you’re referring to as the individual view. Is that in a lightbox, or the attachment page?
I have noticed this too.
This is the error from the logs:
[22-Mar-2021 23:16:38 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined method Elementor\Utils::validate_html_tag() in /srv/htdocs/wp-content/plugins/essential-addons-for-elementor-lite/includes/Elements/Cta_Box.php:1097
I think I might have encountered this too. This is what I have in the error logs:
[15-Dec-2020 04:09:26 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined method PMS_Merge_Tags::pms_process_merge_tags() in /srv/htdocs/wp-content/plugins/paid-member-subscriptions/includes/functions-content-restriction.php:127

In reply to: [Exifography] Change request@swoolrich Thanks for the image, I’ll look into it.
> I should also have mentioned I’d like to be able to change the order the meta-data appears in.
You can do this by dragging and dropping the order of the fields on the settings page.
> And another field…. Lens. I’ll upload a photo containing it if necessary.
No need to add an image for this, I have multiple lenses to test. This one is more difficult because it’s not always stored as plain text, sometimes it uses a manufacturer ID, which means I need to include a database of IDs to reference. It’s on my list to do.
