In reply to: [No Right Click Images] Right Click in Tablepress?Yes, the plugin turns itself off for the admin, otherwise the administrator would not be able to get any work done that requires right-clicking. (I had forgotten about this. I am glad that you figured it out.)

In reply to: [No Right Click Images] Honesty is a Must…Thanks. I don’t even remember what I said. I created this plugin many years ago. I haven’t written any code in about 10 years. It is great that you managed to find the plugin and it still does something. It was a wonderful thing to wake up this morning and find your comment.

In reply to: [Link Fixer] Please Update!I just did a commit. It still says that it has not been tested, but that might go away. I will monitor things to see if it is happy with the changes.

In reply to: [Link Fixer] Please Update! Thanks for the nudge. I am retired, and haven’t done much programming in the last few years. I’ll test it on the latest WP and if it works, I’ll update it.
Thanks,

In reply to: [No Right Click Images] How can i allow logged-in users to rightclick?I won’t be adding new features to a plugin that is as old as this one.
You can tell your users to use an “Enable Right Click” plugin for their browser. I have one for Firefox that I use sometimes. There is one for Chrome, so I think that your users will be able to find one for their browser. It is a handy thing to have.
I am retired, and I haven’t written code in about eight years, and I would be afraid to mess with any of my programs.

In reply to: [Astounding Spam Prevention] Occassional PHP trips on just one of my websitesI’ve published a change to the plugin that disables checking the SFS database. I cannot get it to work with the plugin anymore. I am retired and have not programmed in many years, so this is the best that I can do.

In reply to: [Astounding Spam Prevention] Very Effective Kills Almost All SpamThanks for trying. There is a new version of WordPress coming out. I will be checking my plugins to make sure that they all work in the new version. I’ll fix it then.

In reply to: [Astounding Spam Prevention] Very Effective Kills Almost All SpamPlease, don’t send a donation. I am retired now, and I only work on the plugin once in a while.
If you really want to support me, please buy my novel and leave a nice review. The book is at: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C1Y4C5JV This way you get something interesting to read, and I get the satisfaction of selling a book.
Thanks for your kind words.

In reply to: [No Right Click Images] Not work on Mozilla on Android and IOS …Thanks for researching this. I’ve known for a while that the plugin did not work with Apple browsers. They do not support all web functions and the JavaScript in the plugin fails. Until Apple changes things, my plugin will not work when using these products. There are other products that claim that they can protect images from being copied. Perhaps they might help, or a combination of approaches will work.

In reply to: [No Right Click Images] Disable No Right Click On A Single Page? The plugin is super simple. It just does one thing and that’s it. It does no checking. It just loads up on a timer whenever any page loads.
If you know JavaScript, you might look at the .js files and see if there is a way to exit if it finds something on a page.
I’m sorry, but I can’t help you on this without rewriting the way the plugin works.Keith

In reply to: [No Right Click Images] Elementor Image Carousel + URL LinkAll I can figure is that the plugin doesn’t use links at all. It uses an “onClick” event to fire off a bit of JavaScript in order to open the URL. Unfortunately, my plugin makes a lot of effort to prevent the click events in order to keep the user from saving the image. A simple link would work just fine, and I am not sure why the plugin does things the way it does. I am afraid that I would not be able to fix things without disabling my plugin in special cases.

In reply to: [No Right Click Images] Featured imageThe plugin will only work on images that are hosted using an IMG tag in html. It could be that the Gutenberg image is using a background image or is not hosted normally.
That being said, recent versions of browsers prevent the plugin from working. I can’t get it to work in Firefox. Chrome turns access to controlling the right click off now, too.Keith

In reply to: [No Right Click Images] Doesn’t work in FirefoxFirefox prevents JavaScript from accessing the context menu. The change was added to Firefox years ago. An update reset the defaults for accessing the context menu and the plugin stopped working then. I haven’t tested with Chrome or Safari in a while, but users claim it works for them. I’ve never been able to get it to work on cell phones.
There is no way to get it to work with Firefox.
I wrote this many years ago when things were simpler.
I don’t make any money from the plugin. Some people still like it. It has 20,000 users, which I don’t understand. Someday it will fade away, but for now it seems to grow every year.
Perhaps you can find another plugin that works with Firefox.
