I noticed this morning that my grouped list calendars had apparently not updated since the day I upgraded to v.2, even though the calendars are all set to display from Today. I had to manually clear the cache on each, so I believe it’s not that the widget is off by a day, but that the GCE plugin is not properly clearing the cache. Most of my calendar feeds are set for the default cache duration (43200) but a few are set to a shorter duration.
