No, this plugin cannot delete the
Trash
. TheTrash
is visible only when there are items in the trash; this is native WordPress functionality. If you move an item to the trash, theTrash
menu will reappear.Before proceeding, could you kindly provide answers to the following questions:
1. Are both the testing and production sites hosted on the same server? Additionally, could you please specify the server’s Operating System (e.g. Linux, Windows) for both sites?

This plugin currently does not have object cache support. I suggest using a standalone object cache plugin in conjunction with WP-Optimize for optimal performance. Thank you.

WP-Optimize allows you to clean up
trash
(deleted posts/pages),post revisions
, andauto-drafts
. However, it doesn’t remove posts/pages that are eitherpublished
,pending review
, or indraft
status. I hope this answers your question.You’re correct; depending on the specific 3rd party plugin being used, there might be issues with the nonce when the cache duration is set to longer hours.
Please try setting the cache duration to less than 12 hours and see if it resolves the issue.

This is a free plugin, and as a solo developer, right now I don’t have the time to add any new features besides my day job. Needless to say, this plugin doesn’t make me any earnings. I’m sorry that this plugin doesn’t meet your needs.
