I have found 2 issues!

1. The product attribute slug cannot be with Greek letters
After I changed to English characters, some of the variants were created in Facebook

2. The product variant cannot contain some special characters.
I had some variants that contained text like this: “(+3,00€)”. All other variants were synced at Facebook, except these ones. This means that some character is confusing facebook. Might be the plus sign, the euro sign or the brackets.

Could you please check these 2 issues with the developer team?

I have now changed attribute slug and variants as a workaround, however it would be great if they could solve the issue.

One more thing that might help.

I have checked the CSV file at /wp-content/uploads/facebook_for_woocommerce and all the products/variants appear correctly. I have uploaded it here for you to take a look if it helps

What could be the issue that only the single products get synced and not the variable ones?

There is definitely something wrong with the variable products.

I created a new simple product and it immediately appeared on Facebook.
When I changed to variable product, it stopped syncing. (Tried for example updating the product name)
When I switched to simple product, it started syncing normally.

At first to tell you that in some cases the integration works.

I changed the name of an old product, and it was immediately updated in Facebook.

However another product that I tried to change doesn’t get updated.

This means that the issue is not the hosting, but something is wrong with the plugin.

To me it looks that there is a bug with variable products.

1. Are there some mandatory fields for Facebook for each variant?

2. How can I completely clear the plugin, so it stops being stuck at “syncing”

I have tried uninstalling the module, deleting the app from facebook, installing the ‘Reset for Facebook Woocommerce’ plugin, but:
– The syncing is still ‘running’, even if when Facebook is not connected
– The “Default Google product category” remains filled even after uninstalling&resetting, which means it is still keeping some information

thanks for your response.

It’s not exactly the same issue. The integration was working for me and couple of products are already synced at Facebook, while 6 of them (the new ones) are missing.

I’ve tried everything from that thread with no success.

When I turn on debugging, it doesn’t really change anything, because I am not able to hit the ‘Products sync’ button. It is greyed out since it’s already running.

Any ideas?
