Hi, my version says “Version: 1.16.34” and I only have this installed on one website.

I will try a different version if you can point me to where I can download an older version.

I later noticed that if you shrink a PC browser window down, the same thing happens, and therefore determined it must be an intentional way to handle the menus.

I did some digging and found the behavior comes from small-menu.js. I went into functions.php and commented that reference out.

I also saw that I could shut off the “responsiveness” setting, but I liked the rest of the features, just not the menu behavior.

Sorry for the trouble. I see what you mean, and it’s working OK now. The defaults, as shown on the installation page, require a site with more active traffic than mine!

I know this doesn’t entirely meet your criteria, but my plugin, Lazy-K Gallery (plugins.atterberry.net) puts your gallery on a page. It does NOT allow comments for each individual photo, so it doesn’t entirely meet your needs, but it does allow using the wordpress page features such as commenting, user access, etc.
