    Yes. There are two options
    1. No: Doesn’t affect page content
    2. Yes: Changes , reorders,or narrows page content
    with these options under 2.
    Let Googlebot decide
    Every URL
    Only URLs with value
    No URLs
(the last two options of the four prevent the Google bot from crawling the URLs in question, which would also prevent Google from deindexing the urls)

Thanks for the info. However, there is no “exclude” option in the edit URL parameter settings only the options

What should the exact setting of the URL parameters be in GWT?

I am using the All In One SEO plugin. It doesn’t seem to have that feature like in the Yoast SEO plugin. What can I do instead?
Is it possible to switch over to the Yoast plugin without destroying existing data and indexed page info? If yes, how do I make the switch safely?

The plugins in question are all free. Like I said WP shows the number of plugins needing updates and when I go through the process I just get the message that they are up to date but in fact they are not when you go back and check the version they are. Then a while later the number of plugins needing update shows up again.

Also like I mentioned above when I try to select them individually from within the plugins I get this error message when trying to execute the update … “An error occurred while updating (plugin name): The plugin is at the latest version..”
