I have the same question. It’s great to know the recipe won’t be lost if the plugin must be deactivated for whatever reason. Please, could you give some guidance where are the recipe found in the database? And eventually how to extract it?

I’m sorry but even after the update I still don’t get the sidebar (I ticked the option in the setting).
Also, as mentioned above, I’m not able to translate your .po file. To be more specific, when I translate it, nothing happens.
Also Jetpack sharing buttons and like button do not appear on the recipe page.

Just a question – if one decides to uninstall the plugin (for whatever reason may happen) will the recipe be lost? I suppose it’ll be necessary to coppy each recipe into a new blog post. Or will you provide other solutions?

As for the translation, I tried to translate the .po file in PoEdit as I do with the theme language files. However nothing happened ?? I’d prefer not using plugins which are not necessary.

Feedback? First impressions are very positive. I’ve tried all available recipe plugins and almost decided not to use any. However I came across yours yesterday, just by chance. It’s much cleaner and the idea or recipe post type is interesting.

1) translation. No, not necessarily a separate file. It could be dome in the settings, just where you already put other items (serves, equipment, prep time…)

2) looking forward for more layouts ?? (BTW there is a strange “right column” paragraphe at the bottom pf the recipe, not affected by the margin code)

3) it helped to insert article.recipe { margin: 15px; } in theme CSS. My site is under construction, but if you want to have a look I might send you login info by mail.

4) yes, the above explanation of “Class for Main Content” is somewhat confusing (at least for a person without knowledge of coding)

5) is the font size fixed? I get 18px for text, which is a bit too large. -the fonts in the theme are not so big.

6) When a recipe is publishe, should it appear on the main blog page? (cannot see it there, sorry)

7) Is SEO optimized like other recipe plugins?

Yes, I totally agree with boastofquietness . I cannot use the plugin because of the save button. My readers have their ways to save recipes and most of them hate creating new registration accounts. Many of them wouldn’t understand English anyway.
The button would be confusing for them. Same as boastofquietness, I’d prefer to pay for a premium version without the save button.
