In reply to: [WP-BlackCheck] [Plugin: WP-BlackCheck] Testers wantedNot exactly sure how I can help with that, other than to say that I dropped Akismet altogether and am now using the Stop Spammer Registrations Plugin, together with your plugin, so far with a 100% success rate.
PM me if you need anything else.
Thanks.

In reply to: [BackWPup – WordPress Backup & Restore Plugin] Temp dir not writeable …I have the same problem and, like the OP, it’s a new one – have never experienced it before. I also don’t see why it should now be an issue having worked fine on many installs before. It is furthermore impractical to create a Temp Dir for each WordPress install (over 200!), and insert the suggested command into the config file of each …
Please help!
Same problem here (WP 3.1.3) – after downgrading to V2.2.12 of this plugin, new posts are being Tweeted.

When I downgraded to V2.2.12, it started working again.

In reply to: [User Spam Remover] User Spam Remover and DB Cache Reloaded Fix conflictThanks for the responses. I do not want to start editing plugins myself, so have decided to drop the database caching plugin.
I too have my doubts about the performance gains of the DB caching plugin, as it also seems to me to be slowing down page serves on the two sites where I’ve tried it. I’ll stick with WP Super Cache, however.
Lastly, thanks for your nice plugin. I use it on two article sites and it surely does the job!
No, my WordPress installations are fairly standard (no multisite, unusual folder/DB setup), and as I said:
I’m running WP 3.1 and Strictly Google Sitemap V1.0.7. and are using most of the plugin defaults, except for having selected “Auto” and “behind the Scenes” build, and adding Yahoo to be pinged.
Here’s one example: https://referer.us/9/4bPfg

In reply to: [DB Cache Reloaded Fix] Use DB Cache Reloaded Fix together with Hyper Cache?OK, thanks, will check out your post and give the plugin a try. ??
Dunno … maybe check that your timezone settings in the backend (Settings > General) are correct and correspond with your server time. There are known issues where they don’t.
Then, maybe deactivate/reactivate the plugin again?
Apart from that, I’m afraid, I can offer no further advice – hopefully, the plugin author can.
Try this (it just worked for one of my sites) – check and see via cPanel/phpMyAdmin if your wp_option table isn’t corrupt/has a problem.
If so, do a repair – it fixed the date issue on one site (so far)!
I’m seeing a similar problem on some of my sites, except the date is stuck on “December 31, 1969”. The result is that the cache doesn’t get cleaned and I sometimes run out of server space, which necessitates a manual clean.
The solution, for some of these sites, has been to deactivate and reactivate the Hyper Cache plugin. But that doesn’t always work.
Any ideas/suggestions?
Thanks for a great plugin – I use it on all my WordPress sites!
I just had a look at the sitemaps of some of my other sites, that were also generated with this plugin, and I’m seeing the same issue there …
Is it just me/my sites, or is this problem reproducible?
Great, thank you Daniel – keep up the good work! ??
Thanks for the reply, but I’ll have to wait for the next update, since I use your plugin on several blogs and it would be too much of a pain to fix each manually … ??
