In reply to: [Simple Calendar - Google Calendar Plugin] Fatal Error on Homepage…even after doing all the cache-clearing possible.
Building an entirely new page using the good feed shortcode did the trick

Hope this play-by-play helps!

Thanks for asking. There are some days when the calendar updates with no problem, and other days where it takes a few hours for the calendar to update. It is really hard to tell if the WP Cache settings we tweaked had any effect, including this one under the “Advanced” tab: “Accepted Filenames & Rejected URIs > Do not cache the following page types > checked ‘Feeds'”

In reply to: [Simple Calendar - Google Calendar Plugin] Display one event from todayThanks for the reply! We hoped changing this setting would have helped but still the same issue (see screen shot at this link:)

In reply to: [Simple Calendar - Google Calendar Plugin] Display one event from todayWoo-HOOW! The latest update has apparently resolved the time zone issue! Thank you!
What settings can we adjust to make it so the calendar item displayed is the most current. We’ve found once an Event is displayed new Events will fail to come-up unless we delete cache (using WP Super Cache).
We’ve gone into Feed Settings and adjusted Cache Duration to 10 seconds. This SEEMS to help but the results are rather erratic.

In reply to: [Simple Calendar - Google Calendar Plugin] Display one event from todayAs is this:
https://www.kohlradio.com/images/KOHL-WP-timezone-setting.PNGPlease clarify this from your FAQ page:
The start and end times of my events are not displaying in the correct timezone, how do I make them display correctly?
First, check that the timezone of your Google Calendar is set correctly (in the calendar settings in Google Calendar), then check that the ‘Timezone adjustment’ option in the plugin feed settings is set correctly.
Where is the ‘Timezone adjustment’ option in the plugin feed settings?

In reply to: [Simple Calendar - Google Calendar Plugin] Display one event from todayHmm. Our timezone setting:

Number of events setting:

These are both our original settings.
