It’s really a pity. GeneratePress is so widespread used. Time to move on to another forms plugin, although I really liked it.

Same issue for us, the GeneratePress dev pointed in that direction:

“It may be a simple case that there Javascript is not specific enough ie. the eventListeners it may be using are listening to all ‘clicks’.”

its the same local machine. I can connect via command line and also via phpmyadmin on the same host. TYPO3 and WordPress work on the same host, on which also MySQL runs.

Found after searching and searching:

Be sure, that the own webserver can access the posted url to the gpx-file – and that the hoster wont change their config.

Solved,

the webserver must be able to access the gpx file via the url, not only the client browser.

Thanks a lot for your support, the web security proxy did mess up the functionality, it works fine now.
