Of course it’s a total legit motivation.

Is it an option to add the Sitekey both as a setting on GF level and as an option on field level? If there is a Sitekey on the field level, this one is taken. Otherwise, the one on GF level is taken?
This makes it more user-friendly when less technical users create forms, since they don’t _have_ to find and enter a Sitekey.

What are your thoughts?

With our WP-GDPR plugin, support WordPress Version 4.6.10 or higher.
At this point, there are no plans to make WP-GDPR backwards compatible until WordPress 4.3, I’m afraid.

Do you have the possibility to do upgrades?
If so, we advise upgrading.

Hopefully, you can find a solution that works for you.

This forum and the reviews collect opinions on the WP-GDPR Core plugin, not on the add-ons.
But you are right, the header and footer of your website are stripped out of the Personal Data overview. When we started development of WP-GDPR Core, this seemed like a good idea. Focus, single-purpose page, and all.
At the moment we’re developing a new style for version 1.6. This will re-use the header and footer of your own theme, so you won’t have to code this and everything is more integrated with your website.

About the refund, after:
Roughly 6h after your ticket creation, we replied with some questions to follow-up. We never received any response.
A refund is/was of course possible. Please follow-up on the ticket instead of just start ranting.
