In reply to: Bullets and Number Not Working ProperlyI have largely the same issue. I believe the problem is in WordPress and will be fixed – someday – maybe. I am using 2.5.1. For an example see
https://www.featheredfamily.org/2008/06/host-a-bird-toy-party/
The unordered list items follow the 3rd paragraph. Is there a better place to report these errors or is this the place? (Scary, cause it looks like no one is watching here.)

In reply to: Update Permalink Structure in 2.5Permalinks in 2.5 are all fouled up. See my post here.

In reply to: permalinks does not workI have a similar issue – the problem is not the theme – permalinks are part of the standard content of 2.5. See my post here.

In reply to: WP 2.5 – Permalinks work – but not for pages! That is the scategory plugin and not the embedded Permalink widget.
The standard permalink widget is all messed up. See my post here.

In reply to: 2.5 permalinks problemI have a Page only site with no posts and mine is all fouled up too. I even switched to a different static page as the main page and deleted the old page I had used. Now, new sub-pages are given the permalink of the original (deleted) page. What is worse, I am prevented from editing the incorrect content of the peralink. Who the heck thought that was a good idea? Yuck! Is it time to retreat from 2.5? Shades of Vista – I left that and went back to XP.

In reply to: RSS for child pagesOtto, you probably are absolutely correct from your perspective, but you and some folks at WordPress should accept that each of our minds operate a little bit differently. What you see as a Category to others like myself is gibberish. To us, Pages make perfect sense and for us to function we need to deal with WordPress in a manner that makes perfect sense to us. Even though you may beieve that our perspective is alien to your way of thinking. To me much of the success of the most popular software in use is the variety of ways one can accomplish the exact same thing and this accomodates the software to a wider community of users. Why can’t WordPress be that way too?

In reply to: How to allow RSS feeds to wordpress PageI agree with Kermitq – but I also would like to publish RSS when either a new page or a new post is created. Does anyone know how to do this?
Forum: Plugins
In reply to: Weather.com ParserDisappointing! All links to this plugin get me to a website that has no plugin and not even a tag for WordPress. I tried to notify the developer and received no response.
Here is a problem that I hope WordPress will address. These links to plugins are of little use if there is no effort by WordPress to confirm their validity and if they are valid to keep them available to the WordPress user community. This one appears to be nothing more than someone trying to drive traffic to their blog.
