In case of CIDR..
A block of .120/26 for example would be .64-.127.
and a /25 would be .0->.127 and then .128 – .255.

You need a range here, or block the whole /24.

Oh wow, you’re absolutely correct obviously.
The misc page on smartmag theme had a setting about “limit search to posts”.
Disabled that one and it works like a charm.

Alright mate, thanks for the answer, must be the image size that social media tries to fetch then that’s wrongly sized.
