hmm, I think it may have it worked out. Went to the options and entered the information for the ‘sending email posts’ or some such. Now I’m recieving emails ??

Nope. Just created the [email protected] account in my email server, no difference. Do I need to download a plugin for this to work, or setup some SMTP options?

my email account? The only emails I have recieved were to my admin account stating that ‘user XXXX email XXXXX’ has created an account.

However, neither of us have recieved the email containing the temporary passwords. Do I have to create the mailbox for wordpress? I see that the admin email I got was sent from ‘[email protected]’

Yep, I just got it figured out. All I had to do was restart my server. *boggle*

No replies for 6 hours is depressing ??
Is there more information which I could supply that would make this a bit easier to figure out? I’m hosting the website myself if that matters, and do most (all) my configuring via remote desktop.

Any idea what the problem was exactly? I’m having the same issue now. =(
