The site is live again. While waiting, I was able to rename the old Jetpack file and that allowed me to successfully upload the plugin. It’s showing in the dashboard and the only thing missing is the old site stats which I don’t think the client cares much about. I don’t know how/why this happened but I hope it doesn’t happen again. Thanks for your help, K

That’s what I’ve been trying to do. I can’t. Filezilla won’t delete the Jetpack folder and Fetch won’t connect.

I’m thinking maybe I have to uninstall WordPress and start over. ???

I’m unable to login to the website. Will contact GoDaddy. In meantime, I have been unable to connect with WordPress.com for this website. Could that be the problem. I’ve tried to delete Jetpack using Filezilla but it won’t allow me to delete it.

I’m retiring at the end of the month and would like to have this resolved so I don’t leave the client with this problem.

Jetpack has disappeared from the dashboard. It is on the server but I can’t access it. Tried changing themes but that didn’t resolve issue. For some reason I cannot delete Jetpack using Filezilla and when I try to install it I get the message the plugin already exists. Help, please & thank you. K

I’m having the same problem. The connectivity test shows Port 25 closed but can be used.

I resolved the problem by changing the sending format from WordPress mail to SMTP.

I suggest WordPress and AOL work it out.

If there are 0 bids then no one has bid the reserve price of $3,500.

Thank you, I misunderstood and thought the bids were coordinated with PayPal. As I understand it, someone makes a bid but their PayPal account isn’t charged until the bid is accepted?
