We do not offer a 2.x or 3.x version of this product and as a product that functions in the admin area only, front end theme compatibility is not relevant.
It appears you have this confused with another product.

It is something that we considered for a future release just have not had enough demand at this time to justify making it a priority.

What does this mean? When i add new guide, when trying to access it, i’m receiving error 404 page
What steps were taken to reach the 404 page? Where are you clicking?
Hard to say since your are using a localhost and your server configuration is unknown.
What I can tell you is that the root should be “[yourpath/docs]”

The error message you are seeing can be caused by encoding. It only shows when WordPress is in DEBUG mode and we are looking into it but it wont stop the product from working.
Make sure permaklinks are active in your WordPress site and supported by your local server.
