I tried this in a new clean wp site and was having the same problem.
It seems to be working with posts but not pages.

I read somewhere that it doesn’t work with page….then why is the option in the editor?

Well I just installed Larson’s. How do I change the language from German to English?

OK, thanks. I’m a little confused as how to do this with 2 sites using MAMP.

Do I need 2 completely separate wp folders for each?
I know I need to change something in config.php file…right?
Do I need to do anything in the phpMyAdmin on the localhost site?

One of them is in staging and doesn’t have a domain. That’s a whole other issue I’ll deal with when the time comes.

One more question. I am a beginning web designer. Now that I installed wordpress, is this just good for one website? Do I need to do a new install for every website I create?
