    Hi, I have a problem with uploading via ftp. I have an ftp server that worked perfectly for years until yesterday.

    Currently some sites I have on the Italian provider Aruba have stopped uploading to the server.

    I checked for any provider limitations and rechecked the firewall and server configuration which previously even worked without active passive ports in the ftp server configuration and without tls.

    Now I have activated tls and passive port in the ftp server configuration today only some sites from other providers are able to upload.

    The sites I have on the Aruba provider even testing the various options with active passive mode log in but the uploaded files are 0kb

    If I try to log in with the passive mode option active I get an error:

    1708.242 (2) PHP event: code E_WARNING: ftp_nb_fput(): Connection timed out (line 93, wp-content/plugins/updraftplus/includes/ftp.class.php)

    It seems similar to the problem I found at this link:

    https://updraftplus.com/forums/topic/ftp-upload-problem/

    I tried disabling ssl in the plugin options but the best result I get is an empty file.

    How can I solve it? Thank you all

    Have you verified that you can successfully connect via FTP independently of UpdraftPlus? Sorry if that is obvious but it wasn’t clear to me from your post.

    Hi,

    Yes I checked and my ftp server works perfectly. Now compared to before it also has TLS active.

    The problem is only with these websites that are on Aruba.

    Trying to test the ftp settings on updraft, I manage to log in but then I receive the error I reported.

    Other sites I have on other providers upload perfectly to the server.

    I see that you have said that you have enabled passive mode on your FTP server but have you also enabled passive mode in the expert settings of UpdraftPlus?
