Well, I guess you are not getting the point nor do you seem to have read the thread.

The PHP version issue is with the FREE VERSION of your plugin and I hope this will be fixed. I am not pro user of your product.

Thanks for your reply. However, are you sure this is how to solve this issue to use premium version of your plugin? What about the unfixed issue with the one in this repository? I am sure many people will face this problem with the latest PHP version.

I would assume that you’d fix this issue in the WP version and would not promote your premium one.

Thank you very much for your reply Steven. Unfortunately I just tried to update this adding my name and my country. But the issue remains the same showing me the red colored background error message “There was a problem updating some of your profile information. Please try again.”

Thanks for looking into this. The button does not work when clicked. I tested this with WP 4.4 and it does not work but when I test the same plugin on 4.3.1 it works. So it means it’s not yet compatible with the latest version.

PS: I know this plugin has been marked to be compatible with 4.3.1 version only, still a heads up to you to make necessary changes so that it works with the latest version too. This is really a awesome plugin for developers like this. Keep up the good job.

Thanks mindctrl for the snippet. Unfortunately, it’s not outputting anything, not replacing the old text to new ones. Maybe I need make some adjustments. Any idea of improving this snippet?

Thanks Samuel for this. I tried that earlier and it’s really working.. but the catch is the date(year) shows up even without me adding the shortcode [year]. Let me explain.

I am creating a plugin option page where I have used wp_editor and the text/input of that editor is pulled into the footer.php file using the function give above.

Now when someone puts ‘SOME TEXT’ in the wysiwyg editor, the content is being successfully fetched and shown on my designated place.

But I want, if someone only adds the shortcode [year], the value shud be fetched, else just the content.

In short, fetch the content from the wysiwyg editor, if there’s a shortcode, then show the value of the shortcode as well.

Hope I made myself clear here. Possible to add a condition here.?

Thanks for this. It’s working on my local server fine and I am getting images being imported but it’s not working when I do this on my live site. I am getting the following error.

Fatal error: Cannot use object of type WP_Error as array in /home/username/public_html/one-click/wp-content/themes/Aspen-Clothing/radium-one-click-demo-install/importer/wordpress-importer.php on line 876

Thanks David.. well I can set this page not to cache for this.. but this will not do in the long run as my pages will be slower than and again, the use of a caching plugin on a website will be pointless.

Please try to fix this as this, I am sure, will happen with a lot of users who are currently using this wonderful plugin.
