you might need to reset your database, because in there is your username and pasword stored.
When installation is done you won’t get a pasword emailed to you, it is directly visible after installation. So I guess you didn’t saw that and waited for the email. You can get your pasword out of your database (PHPmyadmin).

I need to tell there is no single.php file in the theme folder, is that a problem. And will the news noty show up in the sidebar.php if I insert the code in there?

so what I have to do in the wp_index file is to link to single php instead of the index.php file which is based in my theme (benovelence)?

Anyone has an idea how to do this?

maybe you just have to delete the theme with ftp and trie to login again?
