When the “add to cart” button is not replaced by the “Preorder now”,

2. Regarding to “Preorder for Woocommerce does not work well”,

Don’t worry, when you deactivate the plugin, the orders that were pre-ordered are not cancelled, but are not displayed because WooCommerce cannot recognize the “Pre ordered” status by itself.
If you re-activate the plugin, the pre-ordered orders will appear !
