I followed your advice.
After deactivation I could create the user.
Then deleted it, activated the plugin, created the user again (from the backend) – all fine.
Then I deleted the user again and created the user from the frontend (on a different browser, not logged in): at the end I got the message to wait for admin approval. But in the backend user list there was no such user. Irritating…
Then I once again tried to create the user from admin backend: saw “Created new user” but no “Edit user” link was added and user did not show up in the user directory.
I tried again, this time not with a “weak” password but with the one generated by WP and I left the “Website” field blank (the user has a very long url with 3 or 4 subfolders..). This time the user was created and showed up, could be edited.

Irritation remains but I leave it at that and hope that future users can be created without problem.

Still not working (in backend and frontend): I can fill in and save https://www.cityofadelaide.com.au/explore-the-city/visit-adelaide/visitor-information but cannot add another subfolder.
Is there a restriction in WordPress?

I can add users, but it fails when I try to add a certain user, whose user name or email may have been used before (but does not appear in the user list or anywhere else).

The new countries are shown at the end of the list, but that will do until the next update.

Sorry, but that is way to high for me. Where would I find that array?

You are right, I had that problem as well with “edit headings”. But for me it worked with the features on separate tabs.

Workaround:

– choose Tab you want to edit (i.e. Include/exclude)
– then choose list and click “select”

This way I can still edit any list.

Oooops, that’s weird:
Just notice a horizontal scroll bar under the configuration window. When I pulled the very small bar very, very, very far to the right edge of the window I saw the “missing” columns. But now I cannot see the field names on the left…
I changed one field position and updated, but that did not change anything.
But then I found out: one new meta field had an incredible long name with only “\” in it. Changed the field name and it works fine. I am so proud… ??

Is there a safe way to exclude or delete meta fields that are obsolete? I have some redundant fields because of failed data imports.

Resolved, could be configured in the import plugin.

Or better: CFDB is a powerful interface between several form plugins and the mysql-database and it offers a variety of presentations in backend and frontend.

You were right, was not aware of the difference between format (in “Find fields..”) and link type (in “Configure / Format fields”).
Now I have a custom field as “url” and the linktype is “none”.

But what I see is still the URL (in different type with/without http, with/without www)…

It′s a bit weird.
The field shown is a custom field containing the Website address and it is formatted as “User URL”. The original field is empty.
Viewing as admin I see all the URL as link.
When I login as normal member I see (saw) only my own URL as link, the other not linked.
Now I filled a different URL into the WP field “website” of one other user record. Result: in the list the URL (from the custom field!) is displayed correctly as URL.
Seem I have to copy the URL from the custom field to the WP field for every record.
