Please review the settings under WooCommerce->Settings->Accounts & Privacy. If “Allow customers to create an account during checkout” is checked, then “When creating an account, automatically generate a username from the customer’s email address” & “When creating an account, automatically generate an account password” should also be checked. Otherwise please uncheck “Allow customers to create an account during checkout”.Klarna Checkout cannot fill out the account creation data for a customer during checkout, so account creation during checkout needs to either be done automatically for the customer or not required when using Klarna Checkout.

In reply to: [Klarna for WooCommerce] Why is there no logfile?@fox-didl – Refunds (both full & partial) worked successfully with the KP v1.5.0 on my test store. If there were no exceptions on the Woo side, the KP log file may not be created in Woo. Can you please provide the Klarna order id(s) where refunds did not work & a screen shot(s) of the Woo admin order notes? (You could send that via email to Klarna merchant support, but if you do so, could you reference the Klarna support case number here also. Thanks.)

Please continue to work with your Klarna implementation adviser (Emma S.) to get the MID activated and once Emma has confirmed that the MID is active, please retry.

I have raised this request internally in Klarna. Until that is possible, would it help for your current playground MID to be configured with additional offers applicable for Germany? If so, please provide the playground MID you are working with. Over time, merchants will be contracting more with Klarna Payments and less with KPM so they will be migrating to use the latest Woo Klarna plugins.

In reply to: [Klarna for WooCommerce] How to select payment methods@flyer29 – Your Klarna playground credentials can certainly be updated to show the desired offers for this playground merchant id (to match the Klarna contract per the expected offers that will be configured for production). Do you have a Klarna adviser that is assigned for this merchant that can support you?

In reply to: [Klarna for WooCommerce] How to select payment methods@flyer29 – the offers displayed with Klarna Payments are configured within Klarna based on the merchant ID; displayed offers are not configured within the plugin. When you generate Klarna playground credentials, it is set up with a default configuration. Your Klarna account manager can configure your merchant id with the appropriate offers for your contract. Once you get your production Klarna credentials, it should be configured as expected.

Are you asking how to get an order to auto-capture in Klarna once the order has been placed? If so, your Klarna Payments contract must include approval for auto-capture, but that is not recommended for most merchants. Because of this, the Woo KP plugin does not include a configuration setting to auto-capture Klarna orders.
The plugin also does not automatically change the order status in Woo from Processing to Completed. That is expected to be done manually by a Woo admin (or appropriate separate plugin if desired).Forum: Plugins

Krokedil has rewritten the Klarna Checkout v3 plugin to better integrate with WooCommerce using an improved architecture. If you have Klarna Checkout v3 credentials (meaning you have a MID (merchant id) similar to the format of K500123_4c07e9c8dfb3), then you should use the newer Klarna Checkout for WooCommerce.
The old Klarna Gateway plugin will still be maintained as stores are using this plugin in production, but we recommend using the new klarna-checkout-for-woocommerce for new integrations.
