I would avoid commercial plugins such as smartmediapro’s membership plugin that employ source encryption. You can’t make the changes you need, even to the simplest template files. I would instead use cbutlerjr’s WP-Members and hook him up with a donation. cbutlerjr is a regular contributor the the WordPress community, which is a great thing to see.

quick update: The ad only shows if I turn on the “pages” filter. It will not show with the “homepage” or “posts” filter, even if I’m on a post page.

My theme is based on TwentyTen, and I’m using AM v3.4.19 on WP3.0.1

I’m having a slightly similar issue. My front page is “latest posts” (which pulls the index.php file from the template directory). The “homepage” filter is not working for me either, but I don’t think Brian’s fix is the right one for me. Scott, any suggestions?

i disabled modules and saved changes. Then I clicked away and then back to the module page and magically, all the modules are enabled again. Not good.

I have tons of issues with cropping. strangely, nothing is consistent.

— some images, when i go to save after a crop, I get “Unable to save the image.”

— The cropped thumbnail saves, but creates a new thumbnail file such as “image-e1234243234242-150×1500.jpg.”

— WP crops the image at strange dimensions (say I created a box at 200×200, when I hit save, the thumbnail image is 300×556)

I have no idea what’s going on. The files have 777 permission. Any ideas?

Yeah, there’s definitely a bug where you can create a table, but cannot use the Foliopress to edit it afterwards.

I disabled all plugins, and it still didn’t work.
Using Thematic as my theme.,WP 2.9.2
Also, switched to “default” theme. No change.

+1 for Shadowbox not working since upgrade to 3.03.
Did all of the above steps, plus tried resetting the configuration to default. No luck.

We’re using 1.5.6 Its working now. Nothing changed, so I have no guess as to why it suddenly works. But hey, its all good.

found it. The code is in the the particular view — in this case, gallery-caption.php. In the file, look for the code that builds the anchor tag and change the title attribute from “description” to “alttext”.

yeah, something is fishy with the permalink rewriting. I changed image titles, and now permalinks don’t work. Have to disable permalink support in Nextgen in order for links thumbnail links to work.
