@alanfluff – you are right commenting out the lines help me to leg in but blank pages comes up. This is another issue. I tried several things but after two days fight I will reinstall the whole thing. thanks your help anyway.

I have the same problem, but the patch is not works for me. I can log in but blank screen comes up. I tried the patch w/o commenting above mentioned lines without any luck.

I have just upgraded from 2.2 to 2.3.
Client: Linux with firefox and Windows XP with Firefox and IE6
