Thanks for getting back!

As for the homepage, only latest posts module is in use.

I only had one sticky post per language (and it is the same one in translation) but unsticking it and re-sticking from another language side did solve the issue. Looks like it was some glitch between Polylang and the theme. English is the primary language for reference. To make it funnier I couldn’t replicate the issue with sticking another post from Hungarian side. Anyway, issue solved so thank you for your help!

I fixed it, but not exactly that way:
I forgot to add, a specific category was selected to show on home latest posts.

When I removed the post from the category, it logically did not appear at all, let alone did it stick – because it didn’t make it through the category filter.

I put it back in the category AND removed the filter from latest posts – and now it works as intended, thank you.

Now I only need to be careful with back dating of random stuff I add not to show on home, but for the purpose of this one post that is quite important, it works well.

Now I will see if I can get away with being it a grid and not a carousel but I got answer to that too so we can call it a day.

As for the carousel, yes, I would need it after header slider, perhaps just the grid will do as I personally don’t find it essential to have the arrows on the side with the function being just the same… or they up the budget and then I’m happy to use PRO, because I’ve been enjoying your free products for long enough to know it has to be amazing ??

For the read more, I actually just changed the default text to an unicode arrow and I thing as for the character it is enough.

I was wondering if there is an option to set its color in css separately (aka text color of the “read more” link). And apparently it is also crucial to stick it to the right bottom corner…

Oh ok I wasn’t very clear, sorry for that.
I have categories sorted in a simple tree:

Hírek
-blog
-interjú
-whatever else

I would like the top category to go first, before whatever other subcategory the post has – and currently it is sorted alphabetically (blog goes first).

If you go here, the second page of the blog has two subcategories and you can see how interjú goes after hírek and blog goes before:

Yes, because I changed its date manually to be at the top. Now I reverted it and it is not sticky nor in the home, neither in blog page (hírek in main menu)

Here, I realised it is only ü and ? affected (which is weird because ?? are more exotic).

I have usual options to edit it as html and the like, but it does not do anything. I also have options to convert it to normal gallery or an image, but that also doesn’t work. and it’s all galleries on this site.

I had a block issue before that I worked around with converting it to reusable block and re-converting to normal one. I tried and initially it looked like it worked, but then no, got back to this error.

I did have a plugin that was adding the hover effect, but after deactivating this one and everything else actually aside from the two Kadence plugins, the problem persists.

As for the centering, the css did the job, thanks!!

Hello Hannah! Sadly, yes. I just updated all plugins too, but the error is still there on every single gallery.

Interestingly, it’s not an issue on the page I have with Pinnacle theme where I am also using these galleries.

On that one however, I cannot make the pictures caption centered for whatever strange reason – and it certainly was centered before the latest WP update… on the Ascend one they are just fine at whatever side of the media I want them to be.

Black screen only appears on chrome and only when I am logged onto the site, interestingly.
I tried on other browser and it just proceeded to play.
Without being logged in on chrome, it wouldn’t play (probably because of the mute setting that Ben appointed) even with adblock off.

What size should I aim for? I’m going to make it a bit shorter anyway so I can just use lower settings in Premiere for hopefully better quality than an online compressor.

Ok now it works (I swear I did it exactly the same way before with an mp4…).
Now I have a question, is there a way to avoid the black screen popping up between poster image appears and the video (which starts with the same screen) begins?
