Thank you very much for your help! I have looked at several options and decided to take your advice and create individual “Close” buttons on each popup page with links back to the page each respective popup is launched from. It is not 100% ideal, but probably the best we can reasonably achieve within the confines of the WordPress framework. I am happy, and I am sure my client will be, too. Thanks again!
