    Hi,

No, unfortunately I wasn’t able to set the roles/permissions as I needed them to be, and ended up using another, front-end editor which included submission forms and permissions. I am, however keeping my eye on the development of this plugin for future use. Thanks for your help.

When I post from the front-end, the drop-down category is ‘frozen’, if i click on the drop-down arrow, it does nothing and all I can see where the categories should be listed is a white space. I’m using an alternative front-end user plugin now, but frontier-post was far better and i would have preferred to use it.

Thanks for your speedy response, much appreciated, I think the second solution you mentioned may work so I’ll give that a go.

There’s some additional info @ this link here, but to be honest, it only confused me even more! Lol!

Buddypress Docs is good, but I still need an uploading facility for media including audio and video, and your plugin met all needs, no worries though, I’ll try docs with a couple of other group file managers and see how things go, thanks for your help. ??

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly imath, yep, I can see the reasoning behind nobody else having access or control over the files and folders of other users, in my scenario, I’m setting up a collaborative elearning environment for children, and the teacher of the classroom wanted administration control over all files and folders once the site is finished, so perhaps a different file management might be more suitable, which is a bit of a shame, because in all other ways, your plugin is really great. Not to worry though, I’ll be sure to use it in other projects. ??

    Hi,

I’m a first time, Buddydrive user, I’ve searched your support forum and viewed the video tutorial, but I’m still stuck on a couple of things and would appreciate your help.

Firstly, I’m the Admin of the buddypress website, and my user role on WP is correctly set, but folder access/management, (as in all of the icons on the buddypress toolbar for other users and groups), are hidden to me. Is there a way that I can view them all so that i can pre set up folders for users and groups, without having to log into each, user account individually?

Secondly, this might seem like a stupid question, but how do you manage and upload folders/files for a group page? (Or is this again, because the icons in the toolbar are hidden from me, and I need to change a setting?

I hope I explained that clearly enough.

Once again, thanks for such a great plugin and I appreciate your support. ??
