unfortunately it made me realize that there are more troubles that happen when you mix the 2 fonts together since now the UL is too small relatively.

Do you think I should just delete the garamond font family altogether and use whatever it is in the default?

It turns out I think the best option was to simply change the REPLY TO header… so that essentially gets the job of convenience done. Almost as good.

I contacted them and they wrote this:

Please note that our systems are designed to prevent SPAM and protect our users, it is required that your forms send e-mails from an existing mailbox from your hosting account.

Due to this configuration your users won’t be able to use their own emails as a “FROM” address. A workaround would be to add an additional field, putting the sender into the “reply to” headers for your email form. Basically, the behavior you’re observing would be expected for our mail service.

What should I do now?

It is weird. I guess those attributes change for each individual one. Because the first box had a greyish background and the second one was white.

So when I used your code to change all the background to white, the first box had white background for the text but the surrounding box was greyish.

I just made it all white for now.

it is likely a host thing. I know on some hosts they disable email stuf f by default until you ask.

One minor thing, I’d like to point out that the purple bar at the top is for “announcements” only and, as such, it comes and goes. But mainly, it is not visible. I actually just removed it for now since it’s a couple weeks old.
