Thank you for the response. I tried again, but clearly there is a conflict with my theme and existing plugins, even using shortcodes. This will take much longer than I anticipate to install so I will defer it until I have more time.

Yes, I tested the page using the default theme and the button still did not appear.

Yes, I already have that plug-in activated.

Can you advise how I might locate that code?

I did the final step of deleting and restoring the plugin, but it still does not work.

I have recently moved from http to https. Could there be a code that is still pointing to an old address?

Thanks for that response. The first two procedures did not help. So I’ll try deleting the plugin. Can you tell me what I should backup? Is it the whole database?

Thanks for your advice. It turned out to be a caching issue, which resolved itself. It’s never happened before so I was quite puzzled by it.
