Hi George,
We have checked the confirmation email-related issue on your site. In our testing, it seems to be working as expected and the email was received immediately after subscribing. Can you please confirm the issue once again?
In the free version, the plugin uses WordPress cron to send emails. To run scheduled jobs on time, WordPress cron needs regular site traffic.
In case there isn’t regular traffic on the site, then WordPress cron won’t be running on time and therefore there can be some delay in sending emails. To avoid this you can set up a cron on your server. You can refer to our documentation cron in cPanel and Plesk.
Hope this helps you. Let us know if you have any further queries.
Thank you.

Hello there,
Thanks for sharing the screenshot.
From the shared screenshot, it looks like the list, which is used in the post notification campaign, doesn’t have any subscribed contacts.
Can you please confirm it at your end? We have attached a screenshot here for reference.
If it is the case then you might need to edit the list in the campaign and match it with your subscribed contacts’ list.
Hope this helps you. Let us know what comes out in your testing or if you have any further queries.
Thank you.

Hello there,
Thank you for contacting us.
You can use the following global functions to add subscribers.
1. ES()->contacts_db->insert()
This function adds subscribers to the contacts table.
2. ES()->lists_contacts_db->add_contact_to_lists()
This function adds a subscriber to lists. For code examples, you can refer to the plugin’s source code.
Hope this helps you. Let us know if you have any further queries.
Thank you.
Hello George,
Thank you for contacting us.
On the site, it looks like currently the form is displayed using an older approach. In this approach, no form is created in the backend. Instead, you can directly use the shortcode to display the form.
But due to it’s limitations, we have added a new approach to display the form. In the new approach, you can create a form first in the backend, and configure it according to your requirements and show it using the shortcode. The form can be created and edited from the dashboard menu Email Subscribers –> Forms.
You can read more about both approaches from here.
Hope this helps you. Let us know if you have any further queries.
Thank you.

Hello there,
Thank you for your reply.
The Status of Reports in Email Subscribers & Newsletters is empty.
— Here you mean to say, there aren’t any reports on the Email Subscribers –> Reports page or something else? You can also provide us some screenshots of the Campaigns and Reports pages. That will help us to understand the issue further.
Thank you for your support and coordination in resolving the issue.

Hello there,
I am extremely sorry for the delay in my response.
While testing the issue on your site https://www.zonetraderpro.com/day-trading-blog/, we noticed it is asking to Select list even though there isn’t any list to select in the form.
Can you please confirm if you are too facing a similar issue when subscribing?
Also can you please let us know the subscription form settings from dashboard menu Email Subscribers –> Forms and how it is added on frontend? You can share the above information in form of screenshots if you prefer.
Hope this helps you. Let us know if you have any further queries.
Thank you.
Hello there,
Thank you for contacting us.
In the lite version, by default emails are sent using WordPress cron. WordPress requires regular site traffic to run scheduled jobs on time.
In case there isn’t sufficient traffic to run the scheduled jobs, then it might be possible that emails won’t be sent in a timely manner. We suspect the issue might not be due to conflict with WP Cerber as we have checked it at our end and couldn’t find any issue when the WP Cerber plugin is running.
Hence can you please confirm if WordPress cron is running smoothly on your site? To confirm it, you can go to the dashboard menu Tools –> Site Health and check if there aren’t any warning related to scheduled events being delayed or failed?
Hope this helps you. Let us know what comes out in your debugging.
Thank you.
Hello George,
Thank you for sharing the confirmation email content. It was helpful in finding the cause of the issue.
Currently, it looks like Click here text isn’t wrapped inside a valid anchor(
<a>
) tag since it’s href attribute is missing. Here is the modified email content with the fix for the issue.
<p>Hi {{NAME}},</p> <p>A blog subscription request for this email address was received. Please confirm it by <a href="{{SUBSCRIBE-LINK}}">clicking here</a>.</p> <p>If you still cannot subscribe, please click this link :<br> {{LINK}}</p> <p>Thank you,<br> JK</p>
You can add the below email content to in the Confirm email workflow and update it. This should fix the issue.
Hope this helps you. Let us know if the issue still persists or if you have any further queries.
Thank you.

Hello there,
We have checked this issue at our end but couldn’t replicate it.
We suspect the issue might be with the confirmation email content. To verify that, can you please check it at your end?
You can check the email content through the below steps:
1. Go to Email Subscribers –> Workflows.
2. Look for workflow with title Send confirmation email and click on edit.
3. On the workflow edit screen, click on Email – Send Email action.
4. In the Email content, click on Text tab. It will open the HTML version of the email content.
5. Check if Click here text is enclosed between a valid anchor tag. We have attached a screenshot for reference here. You can also share the email content here if you want us to look into it.
Hope this helps you. Let us know if you have any further queries.
Thank you.
