That was my thought exactly!
I’m starting to think the programmer may have broken the site intentionally since he is on his way out.
I ended up fixing it after some digging.
I went into Theme – Customize and checked the static home page. Some how it miraculously got changed from the correct page to just recent posts…
Fishy…
