I wonder if you could help me. I’m not very knowledgeable about CSS, but I’m not afraid to copy/paste it when necessary. I’m having the same problem that you had with this new version of Contact Form 7. Before the update my text labels were white and fine. Once I upgraded they are now this dark gray that can’t be seen. You can see here in the footer:

I’m just not sure where you added your code above. I’ve looked at the theme Stylesheet, but I don’t see a place to add it, as the theme intended something else to go into the first column of the footer, and I decided to put the contact form there.

ok, thanx. yes, i finally found a link to the article in your FAQs. i didn’t realize at the time i was on the eStore page.

thank you. the link is working now. but i’ve been to that page many times. it only details variations that don’t affect the price. i have actually seen either a video, or an article, about price variations, but there’s so many, i can’t find it now. it explained how the price for a variation must be the amount that would be added to the base price, rather than the full price of that variation. the code was slightly different from what the editor shortcode outputs. it added a + (plus) and the amount, but i don’t remember the syntax exactly. if i could see that code again maybe i could duplicate it. would you be aware of that tutorial, or have more info about price variations, rather than size or color variations?

Thanx, David. Yes, you’re right. I restored again and included the database, and everything came back ok.

I’m still not sure about the security cert, though. It doesn’t seem to be working, but I’ll try a separate re-install of that and see if it works again.

Thank you for your reply, David. I did just add https security to the site. Unfortunately, my client went ahead and went back to an earlier restore, without clicking the Database, and we’ve lost some formatting and page layout. Could that additional info be in the database? If I now did a restore, including the database, might that restore all of the content now missing or formatted incorrectly?

Also, the restore seemed to have removed the security cert that was working. I don’t quite understand why it was not backing up with the security once it was added. Will it include the security once it’s added again?

I added the cert weeks ago, and the restore that gave me the error was from 2 days ago.

so i guess i can’t have my new subscribers go directly into a third party list. i know there is manual export capability. thanx.
