In reply to: Can I assign a new capability when creating a roleHey @kestutisit do you intend to update the Car Rental Plugin you created?
Jeremy, that is perfect! Exactly the help I needed to determine the CSS element. Case closed, another happy Jetpack user!
So Kelly, back to the specifics of my question. Not how do I edit, or where do I go. But what CSS element can I use to access that specific widget label? .jetpack_subscription_widget
This is for the title that normally has text of “Subscribe to Blog via Email” ? I’m trying to make the label bold, and black not the default gray.Kelly,
Thanks. I already know that but have been unable to edit the LABEL for the text I described.
Also, if I edit those files directly they would be overwritten each time an update is applied. So using the theme CSS editor would over-ride just the particular CSS element. If I’m not mistaken.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: JetPack Blog Subscriptions WidgetDear Happiness Engineer, Could you help with editing the .jetpack_subscription_widget label for the title that normally has text of “Subscribe to Blog via Email” ?
Thank you for sharing the happiness.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: New "Activate" page appearedOkay, I went to the settings of the bbPress plugin.
I changed the Archive Slugs / Forums Base name from the default “forums” (which had an error stating it may conflict with BuddyPress forums) to my own name of “motorcycleforums” and now my bbPress forum is visible (but not linked in Nav) at https://cincinnaticaferacer.com/motorcycleforums/ . I can’t figure out how to get a Nav link to it. The default BuddyPress FORUM menu item is there but has a blank page.I Can add a bbPress sidebar widget to show the forums. But how do I get it in the top BuddyPress nav?
It’s really messing with me. Similar issue, in order to keep the Community/Members page showing I have to have a Members page linked in the nav. Ugh. I may need to call it a night and get some dinner. I’ll revisit this with fresh eyes later.

In reply to: New "Activate" page appearedWell, I think the ACTIVATE page is part of BuddyPress. I found the template for it (activate.php) in the editor. That onscreen text was in it. Not sure why this PAGE suddenly appeared. (perhaps in an update?)

In reply to: New "Activate" page appearedI tried posting some new forum topics and get a link to a blank page:
https://cincinnaticaferacer.com/forums/topic/jim-wilson-ride-oct-22nd/And a new forum does the same: https://cincinnaticaferacer.com/forums/forum/meetups-and-events/
Perhaps it is SLUG related??

In reply to: New "Activate" page appearedTried that. Nothing.
However, not I’m getting a yellow bar message at the top of the CMS pages: “Your active theme does not include bbPress template files. Your forums are using the default styling included with bbPress.” which is fine… but I still have no forums.
And what is that dang “Activate” page that I did not post?
