The theme used for this website is divi by Elegant Themes, actually a theme builder. Their standard mega menu didn’t work as we wanted, so we use another plugin, Max Mega Menu. And it seems that it causes crashes of the primary menu on the front end. And those menu crashes (the whole menu disappears and changes into a white block) have effect on the activation of extended views. Every time there is such a menu crash, extended views is deactivated and doesn’t reactivate itself.
But meanwhile I discovered more deactivations at random. So, also without a menu crash.
Still strange we get no response at alle of time.ly
Strange too your wonderful Snippet first worked excellent and then without any update (besides theme updates) stopped.
The second one the same. It worked the first couple of hours but then stopped. I guess also after a theme update.
Divi at this moment has several updates a week.

Thank you for all your work and excellent solutions. I am under the impression your snippet was twice overtaken by theme updates.

Do you know alternatives for these time.ly plugins? User friendly and mostly that wonderful posterboard view?

Your handler.php did the job as did the new snippet
But……..

I use the plugin Max Mega Menu on the multisite installation. Since 2 weeks this plugin, which I use already all the time I am working on this site (since last July) crashes from time to time.
Today I discovered there is a connection between the mega menu crash and the deactivation of Time.ly’s extended views. F.I. when the mega menu crashes on Site A, the time.ly calendar plugin deativates on all other 7 sub sites, but NOT on the main site, where the max mega menu also never crashes.

Now I changed the Max Mega Menu on Site A to the build in Mega Menu of Divi which I use. It never crashes and the extended views plugin doesn’t deactivate.
I still need your snippet. Witthout it Time.ly deactivates anyway.

Still I don’t understand why a plugin on a multisite system only crashes on the sub sites and not on the main site. I wonder if this has been the culprit all the time.

I will keep you and the other viewers posted whenever I have more information. Thank you for all your willingness to help and huge knowledge.

Might it be possible Time.ly changed something on their server?
Your wonderfull snippet suddenly stopped working on my sub-sites of the multisite system. It still works on the main site. The plugin ‘extended views’ stays activated there, but on all 8 subsites it is deactivated from time to time. Sometimes after seconds and sometimes after 20 minutes. And it doesn’t reactivate itself as it did the last 8 days.

I will keep you updated.

I have been looking for alternatives for almost a year now. The best solution I found in all that time is yours.
Are you afraid that the guys of Time.ly will block this one too in the future?
I think this one works excellent. In less than a second the plugin is reactivated again. Wonderful.
The only alternative which would be better is that the extended view plugin doesn’t deativate itself anymore, but I’m afraid the guys of Time.ly went away for a lifetime vacation.
Even my payed accounts don’t work and I have an uptime of my server of 99,6%.
Last 6 mponths their support doesn’t even respond anymore. I have given them up a long time ago.
I have all the faith I can have in your solution.

I retried to produce a log file. And guess what? Now it does work. It might that I made a mistake on Thursday with copy-paste.

But unfortunately it doesn’t change anything. The subsites immediately disappeared again after activating your code.
Awesome that you’re trying to help. Time.ly should hire you, because I am under the impression they don;t know anymore what they are doing.

I am having this issue on 2 out of three websites with the plugins of time.ly
And I use a payed plugin where it doesn’t work and a free one wheere it works fine……
I used the code of hardweb on one of the sites where extended views are deactivated all the time. That is a multisite. On the main site the code works excellent. When extended views are deativated the code ativates it immediately. However, the code, creates another issue for me in multisite. The main site is shown and works, but the eight subsites disappear. On the frontend as well as on the backend, just white screens. When I delete the code snippet, the subsites appear again, but without extended view. Pitty.
Time.ly doesn’t repond to questions or whatever.

I have the same issue
Tried to change the php file as described, but after that my whole website crashed. I saved the old file and could restore the situation but still not possible to save. Strange bug.

Problem solved
I clicked on ‘Views’ and suddenly the button ‘Height’ appeared.

Solved it.
When I set the fixed rate setting at zero everything works ok.

Screen captures will be difficult because my woocommerce is in Dutch.
Details of my settings:
I use 2 shipping categories for 3 different types of products, because the sipping costs of 2 of those products (socks and a book) are exactly the same. The third one are statues.
So for the book and the socks both I have entered book as a shipping catgorie. Costs are € 3,26 (VAT not yet indcuded) per shipping with a maximum of a weight of 4 pound.
Settings fixed rate settings: I have entered my mail service, taxes = yes and costs 3,26
Settings Send class costs: Statue send class costs 5,74 | Send class costs book 3,26 | Calculation Type Per Class.
What happens is that when someone orders just 1 ‘book item’ in the shop he gets a shipping cost calculation for 2 items. The same happens with the statues. Whatever one orders, he gets a shipping cost calculation of 200%. What can be wrong here?

Did a manual extraction, but no result. No clues. Extracted the zip file on the local computer and everything looks ok.
