If I want to do it globally, do I make the change in the CSS of the plug-in? Or do I need to use custom CSS?

I’m having a similar issue using the Create Field Template plug-in to display a datefield I created using easy post type.

I’m getting a timestamp and not human readable text on my template. I’m not super knowledgeable about this stuff, so I wanted to back up a bit.

Where do insert this snippet: <?php the_ept_field(‘date’); ?>

Also, let’s say that my theme is called “ABC”, and my datefield is called “pull_date”.

if I copy the theme-datefield.php template into my theme, and I just want it to apply to that single field, I would rename it “ABC-pull_date-date.php” and drop it in the theme folder. Is that correct?

Do you have user initiated registration turned on the regular WP settings? I couldn’t see that either. Then I turned that option on and when I went to the login screen, there was a “register” link. Clicking it took me to my custom created registration screen.

I’m a bit new to all this, so I may just be missing something, but would it be possible to include a field, with the date and time the person registered? This need not be visible to the user, but from an admin standpoint, it would be nice to have this time/date stamp easily available. It would also be nice if there was a clear way to create an audit trail connecting the date/time stamp and the specific license terms that a user used.

Also, is it (would it be) possible to create a two tiered registration system. Here’s the scenario I’m thinking about. You have certain contributors where you want to use the registration system to have them sign off on the terms under which they will submit content to the blog.

Then you have just garden variety users, who you want to register for commenting purposes, etc. But you may not want to require them to submit as much info.
