In reply to: [Restrict Author Posting] Does not work porperlyWhat level are your users?
If they are set to “Author” level or below, they’ll only be able to touch their own posts.
Editors and above can mess with any post on the site, even if they can only create posts in a certain place due to this plugin.
If the “Author” level doesn’t work for you, you may need to create a custom user level to give to your users to accomplish what you want.
Did you activate the WordPress and/or Thesis action groups on the OpenHook General page?
Glad you got it working, selym!
Do you the Thesis actions enabled on the General tab of OpenHook?
Yeah, that’s normal. It’s on my agenda to improve the usability of that. (Has been for ages…)
Are you using a caching plugin, by chance? If so, you will need to flush the cache after updating OpenHook options in order for the changes to be seen on the front side.
Sorry to hear OpenHook didn’t work out like you wanted. Are you having any luck with it? I mean, was it just that one customization in that one hook that wasn’t behaving properly? I was able to add it to the OpenHook running on my site fine, but that doesn’t mean anything (different servers, different this/that/etc.).
Bender, when i view your site, it looks as though the PinIt button is working just fine. (I even pinned something to one of my boards from it.)
You don’t need to check the Process PHP button, though; that’s all just regular HTML & JavaScript, so you can save the few milliseconds of processing by turning off PHP processing.
That error may arise if you activate the Thesis action set on the General options page w/o having set any options in the Thesis Hooks panel.

In reply to: [Plugin: Thesis OpenHook] Facing Problem While UpdatingI’ll gladly take a look if you’re willing to setup a temporary admin account for me ([email protected]). It’s hard to diagnose when i can’t really see what is happening.

In reply to: [Plugin: Thesis OpenHook] Facing Problem While UpdatingYou’re quite welcome. Always a pleasure to hear from OpenHook’s users. Keep me posted on any other issues that may crop up!
With any luck, future updates will be to add slick new features rather than to fix my foibles. ??

In reply to: [Plugin: Thesis OpenHook] Facing Problem While UpdatingIt’s there now. The repository was a little slower to update this time around, which i’m told means a lot of plugins are getting updated at the moment. I dunno. Either way, it’s up now, so go hammer it and tell me what’s still broken.
(Confession: I’m by no means a coder; i’m a tinkerer… i love customization & enabling customization, which is why OpenHook was created in the first place. It’s a labor of love, and i wish i had the professional skills to live up to its popularity. I thank all of you for sticking with it through the bugs!)

In reply to: [Plugin: Thesis OpenHook] Facing Problem While UpdatingVersion 3.2 should fix all known issues.
Users experiencing issues with backslash-filled customizations should re-import from 2.x.x (assuming you haven’t already deleted the old options); they will be properly cleaned up with slashes removed as expected.

In reply to: [Plugin: Thesis OpenHook] Facing Problem While UpdatingYou won’t find the Upgrade option until after you have upgraded; it exists as part of version 3. In other words, once you upgrade, browse to Settings -> OpenHook in order to upgrade from version 2.
The error message you gave is incomplete, but judging by the file & the line number, i’d guess that your upgrade was somehow incomplete, that index.php wasn’t updated somehow so that the OPENHOOK_GENERAL_SETTINGS define doesn’t get set.
