I’ve searched for a ranking/reputation plugin for WordPress, and CubePoints seems to be the best and simplest so far. I’ve tried WP Achievements but I don’t like it.

Features that I would like to see in this plugin are the ability to see the points and rank on the author profile (author/admin/ for example, or provide a shortcode), in the comments (on post page so that all commenters have the ranks after the name), the integration with WP-PostRatings and ability to add badges.

Keep up the good work.

P.S.: You can support yourself by providing premium modules for the plugin. ??

I will rate this plugin 5/5 even if those 2 feaature requests are not implemented because for now it’s the most usefull plugin for me.

PS: a wordpress.com account is not needed so I think it would be the best free CDN.

#2 My site is running UTF8. Database is of type MyISAM with Collation utf8_general_ci. Romanian sites using your plugin display ? instead of ?, ?, ? etc

But only for auto-generated meta description. If the description is entered by hand in the post WordPress SEO by Yoast meta box then everithing is ok.

So it is a plugin bug.

I have not tested the code on multisite but should work fine.

My content is NOT on the first page where the pagerank is big and where googlebot crawls it hourly, so the only way to notify google about my content is via the sitemap and a ping (how I described it above).

With a ping the new content is indexed within seconds, else (with no ping) it is indexed in hours/days.

Ping o matic should work when your content is in the latest 10 posts on the main feed. If it isn’t than it is useless.
