Actually, I think the theme customiser is storing full URLs for the slides. Problem solved

I don’t think this is the case – there is no restriction on the container.

If I use web inspector, AdRotate is applying g-2 class to the column which in your stylesheet has max-width:250px:

It looks like it’s because WooThemes Testimonials also uses Slick and the 2 are conflicting

I disabled the transform on the element via Firebug inspector. There are no errors being generated in the console, but I can see it works in your demo so I’ll try to figure out where the conflict happens.

I have adjusted the height (and misaligned arrows) via CSS. Also if I disable the transform: translate3d() on the element the logos appear: is this part of slick slider or is the plugin adding the transforms?

Yes, there was an error from the WP Job Manager plugin. However, I have fixed that and now a new problem:
