Well, that is the problem. I cant add any ??? on any page, post or stuff.. it never getting to there…

When i post:
“alle har v?rt fine i dag”

then all that is getting to he page is:
“alle har v”

First letter ?, ? or ?, it and rest is cut away

Well, i have done that part. I have delete all plugins, themes (except the default), delete the full install, made a new one and so on and so on… Taking everything away as plugins ++ .. does not help me..

Hmm.. did you read my post? A 100% fresh install, new, and old install, older version that is. Testet all, deactivate all, download plugins, testet everything there is to it in my eyes.

switching to the Twenty Fourteen

EVERYTHING, on and in the page is working.. it is ONLY this editing, adding post, or making a page, and adding ?, ? or ? in any norwegian word or setting, it cut that first letter and nothing else after that comes.

I smell something about the editing part of wordpress isnt really connected to the MySQL upload, or anything in the prossess is not happening as it should.
Again, everything else is working, no problem.. only this ??? stuff is not working. If i have a English written page, no problem as there is no ??? in any words.

Any more info, from somewhere, anywhere or somehow needed for solving this task?

How can i get zip.so install on server?

Well, That post you refer to is closed and i cant comment on it. It is many months old and have no sollution.
I relly hope after 7 months there is a fix to this?

I google and search around for 4 hours last night without finding anythign that fix this problem.

So. 9 months sins some post here and i have google around wihtout any answer that helps my problem. I have this message on Edge Suite:

Your server is not able to extract zip files (PHP Class “ZipArchive” not found).

Cant get anything to work. It is a fresh and new test wordpress install.

I got it to work. Made a few other manual updates, and then out of the blue all start to work.

But, when i click update on dashboard, a bit down on the site, this show’s:

(WordPress could not establish a secure connection to www.remarpro.com. Please contact your server administrator.) in /home/wp/public_html/wp-admin/includes/plugin-install.php on line 77

Dont know what that is, and seems all working as i need it.

So what’s different on that one install from your other installation?

More or less nothing, except content, and some other smaller stuff. Thing is, it just happen. One day i look into all the WP isntall and see if there was any updates or something to do.
When i came to this “problem site”, i could not update it, i cant search plugins, and themes. And that message comes up.

So, i started googling and other stuff. Like some of the links i have posted. But cant find any content that helps. Some post talks about API, and some not working and some are.. dont know what this thing is all about?

The ones that are working are they vhosts running the same PHP and modules on the same server? It sounds like it is but I’m just trying to make sure.

What do you see when you try? What is the text of the error message?

I se nothing else then that error message i have copy/paste two times.

But this is the only one with this problem.

Have you tried the usual troubleshooting steps on that one troubled installation?

– Deactivate all of your plugins

As i have written, yes i have deactivate all stuff and try again.

– Switch to the Twenty Fourteen theme

I have try, i also removed all themes, and then isntall one more time fresh. No luck. (as manual stuff work, but not within dashboard)

– Clear your cache and cookies

Say what?… Should have nothing to do with it, but same problem on 4 different computer here. Nothing to do with my computer!.

– Relogin and try to search again.

Many times in and out, and as above, on several computers with same problem. On “THAT” site, but non of the other sites on same server.
