In reply to: [fullscreen Menu] close overlay when clicking menu item on one page theme?Another workaround is to link the menu item to another page or URL that is then redirected back to the specific home page section anchor. Detailed instructions are here: https://chadwickandwhite.com/fix-fullscreen-menus-dont-close
That’s great, Thomas! Glad to hear it.
Install and activate the plugin I mentioned. You will see that your category description area now has a rich text editor that looks similar to your post editor. You can add images to your category descriptions and format the text in the same manner that you with your posts. The description will be displayed at the top of your category page along with any images that you added.
I believe that the Arras theme does support category descriptions, so if your descriptions are not shown at the top of your category pages after you add them using the plugin, ask in the Arras forum how to enable them.
@thomasgafo, I am using the Rich Tax Description Editor plugin to customize my category pages. It allows you to add images and formatted text to your category description. Make sure that you theme options are set to show category descriptions. (Some themes don’t display category descriptions, and in that case you would need to edit your theme, so that descriptions are displayed.)
@ian, I have searched everywhere for this solution! Thank you for taking the time to post it.
@jason, you absolutely ROCK. This plugin doesn’t seem to be supported anymore–the developer’s site is down, anyway. Your one little line of code was all I needed to save hours and hours more of work and frustration. Thank you!!!
P.S. Installed “Comprehensive Google Map Plugin” instead, which worked beautifully in less than five minutes, including a custom marker and CSS border.

In reply to: [Jazzy Forms] #REF! Problem with divisionsQuestion #3 is my question, also. This plugin is so difficult to figure out, but there are apparently no other custom calculator plugins. I need to calculate WXLXH/27, with the visitor entering the first three numbers and the calculator multiplying the visitor’s numbers, then dividing by 27 and showing the result in a window, but the ‘calculate’ button doesn’t work, and #REF! is in the ‘total’ window. Any help?
You could add states as primary categories and cities as sub-categories of states, then use a widget like ‘AVH Extended Categories’ to do a dropdown of states with cities listed below each one. You could also use mega menu widget to do something similar.
@dani, “over glorified trial not a true free plugin.” I agree with you.
Everything about this “free” plugin screams “Buy the paid version!” If I was going to buy one, I’d go to CodeCanyon where they have awesome sliders for sale that cost half what they charge for the premium version of this one.
Anyway, to hide the lame watermark, add this to your CSS Stylesheet (in Suffusion, add it to your custom includes >> custom styles):
.lens-tool-kit.sd2-frame a.slidedeck-2-bug {
display: none;
}Thank you very much for your help. After you said it should work, I re-enabled BPS (after deleting the CloudFlare IPs I had added to FilesMatch). It’s working PERFECTLY now. This is a huge relief, because Bulletproof protects all of my aliased sites with one install on my primary domain, including two multisite installs, and I don’t have to add them to CloudFlare and set my blocks up site by site.
I think was initially crashed the site was that my CloudFlare plugin itself was not configured. I assumed it was BPS, because I usually have to turn it off while adding sites or re-installing WordPress, but had forgotten to do so when setting up CloudFlare.
Bulletproof continues to amaze me. Thank you again.
Hi Mike,
I’m sorry, I don’t have a link to show you because I ended up going with another plugin that is specifically supported by Suffusion. But I had tried several plugins, and yours is definitely one of the best.

In reply to: [Suffusion] [Theme: Suffusion] Dangerous Architecture hereMbrsolution, I second your comments. I’ve used Suffusion to build more than 20 sites, and Sayontan has provided immediate support for every question that I’ve asked in his forum.
Suffusion is so solid that every plugin I need–security, galleries, grids, social bookmarking–all integrate perfectly with it. So far, I’ve not found anything that I needed to design into a site that I could not do with Suffusion, and each of my sites appears and functions differently from the others. (The Mega Menu support feature is one of my favorites aspects of Suffusion, BTW.)
Suffusion is, in my opinion, the best framework available by far on which to build a clean, custom WordPress website. Can’t thank you enough, Sayontan!!
