Thanks. I’d already been doing that in order to get my precise location. However, I fixed my issue already. Turns out I needed to reset the option that asks how many posts to associate with each map. It defaulted to 3 for some reason and so the map was appearing somewhere between the first map I created and this one (I’d only created 2 maps thus far) that I discovered only because I zoomed way out and saw the first point. So I changed the posts to 1, which got rid of the previous map point and poof, problem solved.
