We think there is a conflict with the Encyclopedia plugin. If we disable the Encyclopedia from ‘Pages’ then the directory listing speeds up. Not sure which way round the conflict is but we have a temporary solution. Thanks

Thank you for your response. We had that option switched to yes already. We did try switching if off and back on again but it didn’t fix the problem.
