i see, thanks. also i notice that on the registration form for pms it asks for first name and last name. i don’t ask for this information if singing up through other means like the buddypress registration. if someone signs up from the buddypress registration are they still able to subscribe even though they did not put the first name and last name information required by pms? is there any way i can remove the requirement for the first name and last name like using that profile builder plugin for example?
i see. it still seems a little bit confusing so i have some questions. i want my website to be viewable by everyone but anyone who wants to make an account needs to subscribe and anyone who wants to subscribe needs to make an account. when they cancel the subscription the account is deleted and when the account is deleted the subscription is cancelled.
1: is it possible for this plugin to override and disable other methods of registering? for example, using the subdomain “wp-login.php?action=register” offers a secondary method of user registration rather than using the PMS registration page. this becomes a problem because the user bypasses other registration information fields and even the subscription.
2. i noticed that this plugin is able to force users to select a subscription while registering, which is good, but is there a way to make the users’ account inactive or deleted when they cancel or abandon their subscription?
3. what is the real difference between a user cancelling and abandoning their subscription? it says that if the subscription is cancelled then it will expire and no further payments will be made. if the subscription is abandoned then it will be removed from the account. aren’t these the same thing?
4. i initially thought that the profile builder addon was a plugin that added extra functionality to pms in the form of an actual profile page and some other user functionality. i’m currently checking it out in the demo and it’s a little bit confusing. so far it seems to offer a lot of the same things that pms does. do these plugins have integration with each other?
okay i tried it out and this is very weird. it’s like both plugins are working the same angle but at the same time they don’t acknowledge the existence of each other. how can i properly utilize this plugin with bbpress? why is there absolutely no information on this issue even though buddypress is extremely popular and many users are likely to use these two plugins in conjunction?

In reply to: [Arcade Ready] some suggestions(i couldn’t edit the first post so i’ll be making new ones when i have more suggestions)
5. rating system: for games so viewers/players can post ratings. i suppose one way this can work is to add a tab for the rating system. the user can edit the rating system from there (like whether the ratings will be enabled or disabled by default, whether the ratings would be by stars (and how many stars), likes/dislikes, etc). then each game would have its own shortcode for ratings that the user can get from the “show games list” tab when making a new page or blog post.
6. related games: for users to be able to display other games they uploaded in a related games section. how it could work is that there would be a related games tab. the user will edit the behavior of related games (like how the section will look, how many games will be displayed, whether the section will pull games from the same categories or tags or both, if the sort order will be random or from recently uploaded games etc). then there will be shortcode in the “show games list” tab for each game. the shortcode will be specific to that game so it can use the same categories/tags as the listed game.
yes, thanks a lot.

In reply to: [Blog Designer] Some problems/questionsafter testing, i was able to solve the problem of having both blogs on the same page by deleting the main blog page and creating a new and different page for the blog designer blog (would be nice if the plugin can override the wordpress blog entirely).
the formatting settings work to some degree on the main blog page (like blog design, social share settings, etc), but it seems all of the styling settings don’t work (like font color, font size, background color, etc).
when i click on the blog post to view the full post page, it still defaults to the wordpress version. i have a better idea of the problem though. i edited the blog settings in the highend theme options, and it had full affect on the posts page. i tried turning all of the settings off, but it didn’t fix the problem.
