I would love an update that would make it so the inline linking showed our boxes for open in new tab and nofollow without having to do a bunch of extra clicking.

It’s taking longer now than it used to for me to put links in due to this.

Also not a fan, since I also use target=”_blank”. I have for years and have never had any complaints. In fact, when I first began my blog, I had readers tell me they wish I had links opening in a new tab when I didn’t, which is why I set it up.

Another thing I have is a plugin that adds an additional box under the “open link in new tab” box to nofollow a link. This inline feature additionally makes it take longer for me to get that box checked as well.

I would love if, with the next update, there was a way to check off these boxes easily on the inline links, without having to click the gear symbol, and then the blue arrow to apply, etc. Would definitely speed things up.

I am on Thesis 1.8.2, having the exact same problem since upgrading.

Yep, changing the checkbox name has made no difference. The spam is still coming.

I am having the same problem and was just about to post, asking for some advice. Almost no spam for months and months and then the past few days I usually have at least eight spam comments in my moderation queue every time I log in.

Thanks. I removed WP Super Cache & the Bulletproof Security plug-ins I was using because they were causing other issues on my site. Replacing both of those with better plug-ins seems to have also fixed my category widget, strangely enough.

I should also mention that some images on my website (like my social icons in the header) just randomly break on occasion. It makes no sense because I haven’t touched the html in the header widget at all and the images are still there in my Cpanel for Hostgator. The only way to fix it is to delete the image and reupload it when that happens.

I am now seeing the images perfectly again … for now. They have been breaking off and on.

Any suggestions on what I should do? Is there anything I can change within the theme to make it work? Or should I just find another theme? I really don’t want to do that because I like the one I have a lot.

When I activate the 2010 theme, everything shows up like it is supposed to. But it won’t in the Simplista theme. So I guess something is set in my theme to prevent my plugins/changes from working?
