In reply to: Comments and Summary ViewI’ll have to check on #2 with the theme.
As far as #1 is conncerned, I diabled the FB comment plugin but nothing changed as far as allowing me to see any comment boxes appearing after the posts?
Any other suggestions?

In reply to: Adjusting Logo size in TemplaticAwesome! You were more helpful than the support from the theme.
One other question, hopefully you’ll know the answer. I added some advertising to the right hand side and now the footer is pushed way down to the bottom with a lot of empty space. Is there anyway I can close this gap? https://www.bleepingbleep.com

In reply to: Homepage scrolling issueRight, with this site I can’t afford anything to get messed up. I am fine with switching themes on my other sites, but not on this one.
It probably is a plugin. I didn’t think about that. A few have been added recently. Thanks for offering alternative solutions.

In reply to: Homepage scrolling issueThe only one I see is wordpress-boilerplate.
I didn’t download it. It was already there when I took over. It’s a custom site.

In reply to: Need Suggestion for Category Merge with PageWow, I think this worked! Awesome!
I’ve read dozens of threads on here about people trying to put posts into custom pages, pulling categories into pages, etc, etc.
This way by FAR seems the easiest. I’ve tried short codes, custom code, etc and couldn’t get to work.
To recap for those of you looking to create categories, put posts in those categories then add those categories to pages this is it!
1. create new page (example name it “apple”)
2. create category (also name it “apple”)
3. go to your posts and put them in “apple” category
4. new page xyz.com/apple now displays your postsForum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: video downloadHow does this allow users to actually download the video? Isn’t what you suggest just a way to label it?
I need random visitors to be able to download the videos that already exist, by clicking on a button from the video.
Is what you suggest the way to do this?

In reply to: video downloadThanks, but that did not work either.
Here’s the issue, and maybe I’m not explaining it correctly, or maybe there’s just not a way to do it???
**I already have videos on my site. I need them to have a button that says “download here” or “download this”…whatever. All these plugins require me to upload the videos and thus creates new posts/pages, etc.
I don’t want to do that. I need them to be downloadable where they currently live.
I’ve tried some other plugins but they didn’t work either. Any other suggestions?
Thanks

In reply to: video downloadHi. Thanks for the suggestion. This doesn’t seem to be the solution.
Here’s what I’m after.
Existing videos (from youtube) are on my WP site.
I need something that will make all these videos downloadable. A plugin would be ideal, but maybe one doesn’t exist?
The issue with EDD is I had to create the downloads and then there were new pages, payment gateways, etc that are confusing and cumbersome for the user.
I need my current videos to have some sort of button that says “download now”, and they can do it from the site?
Any other suggestions?
Thank
