In reply to: [Seriously Simple Podcasting] Critical Error After Update to 2.20.0There was a minor update released on March 10th and I have updated to it, but the issue still persists. Would a plugin author/contributor please respond?

In reply to: [Seriously Simple Podcasting] Critical Error After Update to 2.20.0This is a live site on a live web server. I’m not sure what keeps coming up that makes it seem like a local instance. And it’s not a faulty SSL certificate. It’s issued by Let’s Encrypt and the certificate shows as valid when I click the lock on the address bar.
Good morning Steve – my apologies for the late response.
It appears to be working for us now after the last couple of updates. But to answer your questions in case an issue comes up again and/or if it might be helpful for others, we weren’t/aren’t seeing the admin notice anymore. We are using Elementor and Elementor Pro as a page builder. And we are on PHP 8.0.
Thank you so much for all your help!
Hi Steve,
Thank you for the reply. We are not on a local environment. It is on our live server (we are hosted by a local company here in our town). I did try the filter and it still did not work.
But, after doing some research, I found that allow_url_fopen was disabled on our server, which from what I understand may affect the file_get_contents() PHP function. So I enabled that and there was also an update for the Accessibility Checker plugin that just became available this morning, so I updated that as well.
However, I just had it scan our home page and the readability came back great (7th grade) and the score came back 100%, with 0 errors, but I feel like our home page does have a lot of accessibility errors, so I’m not entirely sure its reading our site right. I guess that’s where “ground-truthing” the page has to come in.Thanks!
Figured it out. I had taken the “Full Time” value out of my “Events” settings and didn’t have a value in it. But when I put a value in, it worked again. I’m glad I was able to figure it out. However, it’s frustrating to have to put that in when American Football time works different than Football (Soccer) time. I wish there were more options to make this easier for American Football and not so slanted toward soccer.

In reply to: [WP Prayer] Prayer Buttons Not ShowingDisregard – discovered the cause of the issue. This is resolved.
Hello,
I am having the same issue, but the location is selected appropriately. I just recently disconnected and reconnected from Square in order to refresh the authentication (we do that every other week) and this is the first transaction to try to come through since I did that.
Here’s the result:
Array
(
[0] => stdClass Object
(
[code] => EXPECTED_STRING
[detail] => Expected a string value (line 1, character 50)
[field] => location_id
[category] => INVALID_REQUEST_ERROR
))

In reply to: [ShopWP] Products Won’t Link to Detail Pages@andrewmrobbins Ignore the part in the previous post about syncing issues. Everything synced just fine today. I guess there must’ve been either a network issue on my end or something going on with the Shopify API that day. Thanks!

In reply to: [ShopWP] Products Won’t Link to Detail PagesHey @andrewmrobbins,
Thanks. Turns out having the default pages disabled was the issue. Now I am running into another issue.
I am trying to do a re-sync but it’s not completing. When I look at the Network in my Inspect tool on Chrome, I am getting error messages such as:
{"code":"rest_no_route","message":"No route was found matching the URL and request method","data":{"status":404}}
(And the one below I am stuck on repeatedly)
{"code":"rest_forbidden","message":"You do not have the correct capabilities","data":{"status":401}}
The actual syncing progress gets stuck at 33% for Products.
I have already tried to create a new private app in Shopify and use new credentials to see if that was the issue, but it did not help. Any ideas what could be going on?
Thanks
