In reply to: [P2] Disable auto activating the textareaHuh. The last time I saw this it was really borked on self-hosted sites. It’s nice to see development going in a direction that will allow it to work other than just on WordPress.com.

In reply to: [P2] "Show More" link load inlineHere’s the GitHub repo. I also made it grab the first image in a post and make it a thumbnail when it makes the excerpt.

In reply to: [P2] "Show More" link load inlineNever mind. I made a plugin to accomplish this on my own.

In reply to: [P2] Disable auto activating the textareaMy apologies for taking so long to get back to you. I must have forgot to subscribe to comments.
Anyhow, isn’t P2 Breathe only available on WordPress.com? I just tried it and the front-end post box doesn’t show on my iPhone…

In reply to: [Login for Google Apps] ThemeMyLogin compatibility?Ohhh that seems reasonably straightforward. I won’t be able to test this until the Fall when my class starts, but I’ll keep this in mind for then!
Thank you very much!

In reply to: [P2] p2 comment notificationsHi Elissa,
It most definitely was (half) working before. Authors were getting an email whenever someone commented on their post and replying in email created a threaded comment. That much worked since the beginning, although it is not working now; I’m not receiving an email when someone comments.
Regarding the second half, it does add a checkbox to “Participate in this conversation via email”, but it has never worked.

In reply to: [P2] Disable auto activating the textareaActually, P2 was updated in October. I don’t know why it doesn’t say that on here. That doesn’t seem that old to me.
If you’re not familiar with it, P2 adds the ability to post updates from the front-end. It also uses AJAX to display new comments/posts live without refreshing.
The issue I’m referring to is that the textarea for making posts on the front-end automatically activates (ie. places the cursor there ready to type) when the page loads. This is fine on a desktop but on mobile it awkwardly forces the keyboard to pop up. So, yes, switching to the default theme will fix my issue but it will do so in the same way that removing the gas tank of a car fixes the problem of the gas cap constantly falling off.

In reply to: [P2] Problem with Comment Mail pluginActually, P2 was updated in October. I don’t know why it doesn’t say that on here. That doesn’t seem that old to me, but you could have a point. Mercury is now older, and it could be interfering with some of the updates that P2 added.

In reply to: [Comment Mail] doesn't work with P2 themeOk, I checked. It works fine with all my plugins enabled, as long as I’m not using the P2 theme (or the Mercury child theme).

In reply to: [Comment Mail] doesn't work with P2 themeI deactivated all other plugins and switched to the Twenty Sixteen theme and it worked this time. So that means it’s a theme/plugin conflict? What can I do now?

In reply to: [Mercury] Using Mercury as an "add to home screen web app"Does it matter that Mercury is XHTML 1.0 transitional? Should it be HTML 5?

In reply to: [P2] Images don't attach to postsIt just occurred to me why this problem is happening and there might not be a simple solution. Is it not attaching the image to the post/page because the post doesn’t actually exist — front end posting — yet?
Is there any automated solution for this?
